ORLANDO - A&S Animation just got word that its My Wife is Pregnant animated shorts will get international distribution through Toronto-based SeaHorse Worldwide.

The animation was done by A&S President Mark Simon during his wife’s pregnancy and highlights some of the humorous aspects of dealing with childbirth.

His wife, by the way, is well-known children’s show producer and writer Jeanne Pappas Simon, who built her own reputation in the entertainment industry on shows such as Nickelodeon’s Clarissa Explains it All and Weinerville. A&S already has completed five of the one-minute shorts and plans to do 26 total. Plans are to distribute the shorts in Canada, France, South Africa, New Zealand and Australia, places that often use animation pieces on TV and cable stations during 15-minute blocks of time between shows.
