Orlando - To help raise awareness for the American Cancer
Societys annual Cattle Barons Ball, which took place
on May 4, ad agency YP&B turned to Mark Simon of A&S
Animation to produce an animated commercial promoting the fund
raiser.
The
spot opens on a meek looking man in heart imprinted underwear.
He puts on a cowboy outfit, his impish frame swells and he is
transformed into a confident, muscular sheriff ready to battle
evil. He grows a mustache, pulls out his chin to create a chiseld
jaw and puts wads of cash in his gun holsters. He straddles
his stick pony, snaps his fingers and he is suddenly in a large
pasture as a voiceover explains. Everyone can be ahero
in the fight against cancer.
NewTek Lightwave software was used for the animation and an
Ascension motion capture system was used for the movements of
the sheriff.
